MIAMI: Bare Necessities Tour & Travel has announced its “Big Nude Boat” cruise, scheduled to depart from PortMiami in February 2026. The 11-day voyage, a full-ship charter aboard the Norwegian Pearl, promises a distinctive travel experience tailored for naturists. “Bare Necessities Tour & Travel is delighted to confirm its full-ship charter agreement with Norwegian Cruise Line for the Big Nude Boat 2026 cruise,” said Ken Tiemann, CEO of Bare Necessities.
Cruise Guidelines: Balancing Freedom and Etiquette
While the cruise embraces a clothing-optional environment at sea and onboard, specific rules ensure respect and comfort. Passengers must dress for meals in dining rooms, except for a poolside buffet where nudity is permitted. In port, modesty is required: displaying nudity to neighboring ships, including from balconies, is prohibited, and clothing is mandatory during port authority inspections. Additionally, guests are advised to leave genital jewelry and fetish attire at home and to use a towel or clothing as a barrier when sitting on shared surfaces to maintain hygiene.
Itinerary: A Caribbean Adventure
The Norwegian Pearl will depart from PortMiami on February 9, 2026, visiting scenic destinations including Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas, Ocho Rios in Jamaica, and Oranjestad in Aruba, before returning to Miami on February 20. Bare Necessities will curate onboard entertainment and programming, adhering to Norwegian Cruise Line’s guidelines to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Booking and Rates
Cabin rates for the 2026 cruise mirror those of the 2025 voyage, starting at $2,000 for an inside cabin and reaching up to $33,000 for a luxurious three-bedroom villa. With demand high, Tiemann noted that fewer than 25% of cabins remain available, urging interested travelers to book promptly.
