Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) will contest 55 of the 73 seats in the November 29 state election.
Coalition chairman Hajiji Noor unveiled 51 candidates today, with the remaining four to be named tomorrow.
Hajiji will defend Sulaman, a seat he has held since 1990.
Key figures include acting Parti Bersatu Sabah president Dr Joachim Gunsalam in Kundasang, GRS secretary-general Masidi Manjun in Karanaan, and information chief Joniston Bangkuai in Kiulu.
Parti Cinta Sabah president Anifah Aman will run in Bongawan.
Suspended Umno members Shahelmey Yahya and Andi Suryady Bandy, who supported Hajiji after Sabah Umno’s 2023 withdrawal, were excluded.
Instead, Shahelmey’s brother Shah Alfie Yahya will contest Tanjung Keramat, while newcomer Andi Shamsureezal takes Tanjung Batu.
Hazem Mubarak, son of Sabah governor Musa Aman, is fielded in Sungai Manila.
Usno president and former Dewan Rakyat speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia will stand in Pintasan, alongside his wife Diana Diego @ Yusrina Sufiana in Sekong.
GRS will partner with Pakatan Harapan, which has a separate pact with Barisan Nasional (BN), though GRS and BN will not cooperate.
Nominations fall on November 15, with early voting on November 25.
Addressing supporters at the Sabah International Convention Centre on Wednesday (November 12), Hajiji urged unity behind the lineup.
“Let us close ranks and keep GRS as the people’s choice to govern Sabah. Vote for progress and prosperity,” he said.
The final four candidates will be announced on Tuesday (November 12).
