Perlis Menteri Besar Shukri Ramli is receiving treatment at a hospital in Kuala Lumpur after suffering chest pain. He experienced the discomfort upon returning from an overseas trip.
The Perlis menteri besar’s office confirmed that Shukri was admitted to the hospital promptly.
His condition is reported to be stable.
The office issued a statement requesting the people of Perlis to pray for his speedy recovery and good health.
It also sought prayers for God’s protection from any misfortune.
