Activist Badrul Hisham Shaharin claims to hold an expenditure ledger that details alleged corruption involving Royal Malaysian Air Force personnel.
He said the document came from a defence contractor who allegedly paid air force members.
Details in the Ledger
The ledger lists payments to specific personnel, including monthly allowances, funds for overseas courses, and personal expenses, said Badrul, better known as Chegubard.
Personal costs reportedly covered golf club fees and overseas travel. Monthly payments ranged from RM10,000 to RM15,000.
It names officers and non-commissioned personnel with their ranks, he added.
Police Report Lodged
Badrul spoke to reporters before filing a police report on the ledger’s contents.
He alleged the company held ongoing supply and maintenance contracts with the air force. Payments tied to defence procurement and radar projects.
Push for Accountability
Documents went to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, but no action followed, so he went public.
This aims to clean up the institution, not attack the armed forces, he stressed. It protects sovereignty and integrity.
The revelations seek accountability in defence contracts and stronger national security.
