Girl found by grandmother in school hall
A 16-year-old Form Four student was found dead at the secondary school in Yong Peng, Batu Pahat, Johor, yesterday afternoon.
She was reportedly discovered by her grandmother, who went to the school after realising the girl had not returned home at about 5.30pm following a tuition class, according to Harian Metro.

Police still gathering information
Johor deputy police chief Hoo Chuan Huat urged the public and media to give authorities room to investigate the incident.
He said police were still gathering information and that it was too early to confirm any details.
“We are in the process of obtaining information. Just like reporters, we also need to get the information. I cannot say whether it (speculation) is true or not because we are still gathering information.
“Give us the space to conduct the investigation,” he was quoted as saying by Astro Awani.
