Pakatan Harapan (PH) Melaka has completed the internal allocation of seats among its state-level component parties for the upcoming Melaka state election.
PH Melaka chairman Adly Zahari said the final arrangement would be concluded after discussions involving the PH Presidential Council, the state PH leadership and PH election director Amirudin Shari.
Final approval next week
Adly said PH Melaka would wait until next week for the matter to be taken to the coalition’s highest level for finalisation.
He said Amirudin was already aware of the decision, while the seat allocation within PH remained as agreed at the state level.
This includes Amanah being allocated eight seats, he said.
Adly was speaking to reporters after attending PH’s Ceramah Perdana in Bukit Baru on Saturday night (Sept 26).
Also present were Amanah president Mohamad Sabu and Melaka PKR State Leadership Council acting chairman Adam Adli Abdul Halim.
Election strategy to follow
Adly said the final seat arrangement would be brought to the coalition’s highest level before it was concluded.
He added that PH Melaka’s strategy for the state election would be announced once the seat allocation had been finalised.
