Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim stated today that the strength of the Madani government is built upon a spirit of togetherness and cooperation between coalition parties, free from any sense of arrogance.
Speaking at the “Sentuhan Kasih Madani” event with the Malaysian Diaspora in Ankara, Anwar attributed the government’s stability to the consensus among all component parties that work hand-in-hand to implement the national development agenda.
“If we are to endure, we must execute programmes more effectively and increase our efforts, such as assisting our children in new technological aspects like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging fields through a core of faith and good character,” he said. He further envisioned that the face of Malaysia would be significantly transformed within the next one or two years.
The event was attended by approximately 200 Malaysians, including professionals and students residing in the Turkish capital. Anwar noted that history shows civilizations rise or fall based on the strength of their values and collective commitment. He warned that decline often begins when corruption takes root and poverty is neglected.
Anwar arrived at Esenboga International Airport on Wednesday for a three-day official visit to Türkiye at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He was accompanied by several cabinet members, including Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan and Investment, Trade, and Industry Minister Johari Abdul Ghani.
