The PAS Election Director-General and Kedah Menteri Besar emphasized that the UMNO Supreme Council member ought to concentrate on his own party, which is reportedly declining and losing public trust.
Sanusi highlighted UMNO’s significant drop in parliamentary seats, from 90 to just 26. He suggested that Mohd Puad should address his own party’s struggles rather than commenting on PAS.

Muhammad Sanusi firmly stated that “fanaticism” has no place in PAS. Instead, its members are educated based on “al-Fahmu” (understanding).
He clarified that PAS members join and support the party because they deeply understand its principles. This deep understanding, he explained, fosters their commitment, steadfastness, and confidence in the party.
