PAS Central Committee member and Muafakat Nasional chairman Annuar Musa said PKR has proven itself to be the “Boss” among parties in the Unity Government.
He said PKR’s acceptance of former UMNO Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz into its Ampang division showed disregard for UMNO’s earlier warning against “poaching” members from coalition partners.
Annuar also criticised DAP leaders for previously calling UMNO leaders “stray dogs” and “flies”, saying it reflected a lack of respect among coalition partners.
“They forget that without UMNO, they wouldn’t be in government,” he said.
He stressed that UMNO still has “brothers” in PAS and Bersatu, and could quickly form a new government without PKR and DAP.
Annuar said the political “DNA” of UMNO, PAS, and Bersatu is more compatible, as proven by history.
“Water can’t be cut; scattered chicken feathers will eventually come together,” he added.
“Who is truly the Boss remains to be seen,” he concluded.
