Pattaya police are investigating a late-night disturbance at a condominium in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung, after an Uzbek woman jumped from an eighth-floor balcony into the building’s swimming pool, while a Turkish man was found with a head injury.
The incident was reported to police at about 3am on Oct 31, 2026.
Woman found naked after jumping into pool
Police Lieutenant Thanathip Jitaree, an investigator at Pattaya City’s Khao Dongtan police sub-station, coordinated with Tourist Police and Sawang Boriboon rescue volunteers following reports of a fight.
Rescuers found the Uzbek woman in the swimming pool after she had jumped from the eighth floor. Police said she appeared to have escaped injury but was intoxicated, incoherent and naked. Officers covered her with a cloth.
Rescue volunteer Nikhom Byor-ar said officials arrived to find the woman standing naked on the eighth-floor balcony, shouting and apparently intoxicated.
He said she jumped into the swimming pool in front of the authorities before they could reach her.
Turkish man found with head injury
The Turkish man was found sitting and waiting for assistance, with a head wound and blood covering his body. Rescue workers provided first aid at the scene.
According to information gathered by rescuers, the pair had been involved in a serious argument inside the man’s room.
The man was reportedly injured before running downstairs to seek help, while the woman allegedly remained inside the room and locked the door.
A building technician said unusual noises had been heard from the eighth floor before the incident.
Security personnel reportedly found bloodstains outside the room, extending towards the lift and staircase.
Both the Uzbek woman and the Turkish man were taken to Pattaya Patmakun Hospital for medical examination and treatment. Authorities have not released further details about their conditions.
Police examine room and review CCTV footage
Police initially encountered difficulties opening the room’s door.
Inside, officers found scattered belongings, a black baton, bloodstains and equipment used for cannabis consumption, as well as signs suggesting a struggle had taken place.
Investigators photographed the room and collected evidence.
They are interviewing witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage to establish how the Turkish man sustained his injuries and why the woman jumped from the balcony.
The investigation is being overseen by Provincial Police Region 2 commander Wasan Techaakkarakasem, known as Burapha 1, and Chonburi Provincial Police commander Chatree Suksiri.
