PKR secretary-general Fuziah Salleh confirmed that Rafizi Ramli remains a full member of the party.
Central Leadership Council Discussion
Fuziah said the party’s central leadership council had discussed the show-cause letter issued to Rafizi.
In a statement, she said the party reminded him to always adhere to the constitution, code of ethics and party discipline as proof of his continued membership.
This serves to show that he is still part of PKR, she added.
Rafizi had earlier stated that he would remain a PKR member and continue serving as Pandan MP until Parliament dissolves for the 16th general election.
Show-Cause Letter Issued
Fuziah explained yesterday that the show-cause letter was sent to Rafizi on February 23.
It followed reports suggesting he intended to leave the party.
The letter sought his explanation regarding those reports.
