The Finance Ministry has clarified that the monthly quota under the BUDI95 initiative remains at 200 litres, following confusion caused by a system display error during scheduled maintenance.
The ministry said some users may have noticed a monthly quota of 150 litres being displayed when the system underwent maintenance at 11pm yesterday.
Technical issue identified and rectified
In a statement issued today, the ministry said the incorrect display was the result of a technical error within the system.
It said the issue had been identified and rectified, assuring users that the displayed reduction did not reflect any actual change to the programme.
June allocation remains unchanged
The ministry stressed that the BUDI95 monthly quota remains at 200 litres for all eligible recipients, including for the month of June.
It reiterated that there has been no reduction in the fuel allocation provided under the initiative.

The ministry said it will continue to ensure that the implementation of BUDI95 proceeds smoothly, transparently and in an orderly manner.
It added that these efforts are aimed at safeguarding the interests of the people while ensuring that targeted fuel subsidies reach eligible beneficiaries effectively.
