Sacked Bersatu Supreme Council member Wan Saiful Wan Jan said he will review the party disciplinary board’s decision and consider his next course of action, including whether to file an appeal.
He added that he will meet other leaders and members who were also expelled to discuss a coordinated response.
Bersatu’s disciplinary board earlier announced that Wan Saiful was sacked for violating the party constitution and code of ethics, while Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal was suspended for one term under Clause 22.5.
According to the board, the decision followed written complaints, a hearing on October 8, 2025, and a thorough probe in line with Clause 9.1.4 and the Code of Ethics & Conduct. Four others—Mohd Azrudin Md Idris, Mohd Faizal Asmar, Mohd Fahdli Ismail and Mohd Isa Mohd Saidi—were also expelled.
The board stressed that all decisions were made independently, transparently and fairly, without outside interference. Affected members have 14 days to appeal to the Appeals Board.
