A Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) personnel who was reportedly bitten by a king cobra during a demonstration in Temerloh yesterday died early this morning.
Pahang APM director Che Adam A Rahman said Muhamad Muazam Shah Kamardin, 39, died at about 1.50am while receiving treatment at Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital in Temerloh.
Bitten during demonstration
The victim was reportedly bitten on a finger on his right hand at about 10.50am yesterday during the demonstration.
He then went outside the hall to wash the wound.
He subsequently fainted outside the hall and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
